Yeseul started her career in 2012 singing "Blue Sky" for TV series "Saving Madame Go Bong-shil" original soundtrack. In June 2014, she released a duet with singer Donam titled "Usual Cat's Song".
Yeseul officially debuted on August 4, 2014 with 4L. At the end of the year, she left the group due to the extreme exposure and redebuted as a solo artist on June 2, 2015 releasing her first single, "Maybe I Love U".
