Yellow Bee (옐로비) is a five-member girl group under Addiction Entertainment (ADENT). The name expresses the intention to work hard and diligently like a bee in the music industry. It debuted on November 22, 2017 with "Hiccup" (딸꾹). The song, composed by Bruni, tells the experience of a pure unrequited love.
They made a comeback on July 17, 2018 with "If You Love Me" (티날까봐).
On March 6, 2019, Yellow Bee revealed Rozy and Boyeon had left the group, and opened auditions for a fourth, foreign member. Through an official Instagram post on June 7, however, Addiction Entertainment revealed all the members left and that the group would have made a comeback at the end of the month with the third single.
Yellow Bee, with a new line-up composed of leader Ryuhee, Annie, Ari, Soye and Seolha, released "DVD (Difference Versus Difference)" on 27 June 2019, having a showcase the previous day.
The group went on hiatus due to COVID-19 while preparing for a new song, then disbanded on July 31 allegedly due to the promiscuos behavior of a member. Ari, on behalf of the rest of the group, denied the claims and accused the agency staff of sexual harassment and neglect.
