So Hyun debuted really early, at the age of 12, with the group "Orange", they released an album titled ‘We Are Orange’ but were soon disbanded. So Hyun then started making auditions becaming a trainee. Finally, in June 2009, she made her debut with 4Minute as as the youngest member of the group. So-hyun has also participated in several TV variety shows.
