ICIA (아이시어) is a k-pop female group under DAM Entertainment.
It debuted with five members as SIDA (사이다, S-sparkel, I-imotal, D-delight, A-all: "an eternal light that everyone cheers") on 19 October 2015 with the single "It's You", produced by monster no.9. Before debut, the group already existed in 2012 as a dance team composed of rookies called TwoL (투엘), which had a sexy concept and went through several changes in formation over the years, from a minimum of four to a maximum of seven.
In February 2016 the group lost two members, Arin and Yoori, who were replaced by Kim Hyeona. In April it changed name to ICIA, and members Seonmi and Yeri changed their stage name to Backjo and Lee Ae respectively, for the upcoming comeback. ICIA released new single "Time Bomb" on 9 May 2016.
In 2017, the group lost Hyeona and Seona, who were replaced by Yeowoobi and Hari (real name Lee Bo-ra), an actress who starred in MBC drama "You Are Too Much". Backjo left the group soon after and, on October 1, was replaced by Switch's member Duyoo, who left her group and joined ICIA using her birth name, Kim Hyogyeong. They made a comeback on 3 November with "Sad Heel", with Yeowoobi going under stage name Nayoon.
In April 2018, Lee Ae and Hari left the group on their own, and the agency started a legal battle for a unilateral breach of the contract. The two girls were replaced by Youmin and Vandi. On November 17, ICIA released its third single "Are You Kidding?", originally recorded and released by girl group Delight as "Hate You" in 2014 before their disbandement.
ICIA then left the company by the end of the year and reformed as dance cover group Cheoeumcheoreom.
