2NE1 is a girl group formed by YG Entertainment. The group debuted with four members; CL, Park Bom, Minzy, and Sandara Park.
They first appeared in LG's Lollipop campaign alongside labelmates Big Bang.
They officially debuted on May 6, 2009 with Fire.
They found success with their songs I Don't Care and I Am The Best, which won them 'Song of the Year' awards at the 2009 and 2011 MAMAs.
After their 2014 release, Come Back Home, the group has been on a temporary hiatus following Bom's amphethamine scandal and CL's American solo debut.

On April 6th 2016, rumors emerged that Minzy was leaving the group. This was later confirmed by YG, who announced that 2NE1 would be making a summer comeback as a trio.
